What started as an overcast day with plenty of clouds and patches of rain transformed itself into a blindingly lit, spectacular sunset. Before getting there though, there were blotches of thick, heavy drizzle, ones where you don't really need an umbrella for but can be torturously accurate in where it hits your face.
Such an irate moment passed and the sky split open to reign down a brilliant rainbow opposite an equally sensational sunset. Not as many people noticed the colored rays of light as I had hoped and I thought to myself, how many rainbows have I missed because I was too preoccupied with making sure I don't step on dog shit?
With that in mind I shall continue to regard sunsets with heightened awareness.
