News Fast

Been on a Reddit fast for a fortnight. My life has taken a noticeably productive turn, like sitting around for hours on end and petting the cat. 

Got the Greens

Had a crappy ass week full of ups and downs, but mainly lows. 
Everything is hopeless, helpless and shitty in the bottom of the dumps. Hyper sensitive and ultra insecure, reality not seeming real. 

Going on this never ending spiral, I picked up a pen and drew a crappy tree. 
Then another. 

Then a plant. 

Then some leaves. 

I felt better. 

The trees saved me. 

Sayonara Ramadan

It's Eid. Time to break out those dates. 

I think one of my biggest bucket list item is to take part in the festivities of Eid. I imagine it's something like a big potluck with middle eastern food. And dates, lots of dates. 

Apparently the way it works is that it's a different day every year. The actual break depends on when the crescent moon shows itself. 

I would be very cranky, especially on an overcast night.

They also make sounds eerily resembling a human, I could image in the dead of night in complete darkness if I heard a goat bleat I'd think it's the devil itself.
