I've been away. Now I am back, you.
Been around.

Brooklyn Cat Sanctuary
Found a cat sanctuary in Brooklyn!
Someone made make-shift houses for the cats, another person left two cans of cat food at the entrance.
Stay safe, comrades.

Going backwards
LA recently passed a law banning more than 90% of all dispensary businesses, ordering to be shut down immediately. This will leave only a few handful of stores to remain open but a motion is in the works to have everything closed.
Stupid, stupid LA.
Stupid, stupid LA.
One for the beloved.
Two for the rebels.

Vintage Montreal
Found this house-turned-vintage store in Montreal. Every room (including kitchen and bathroom and basement) was spilling out odd bits and ends from the 1950's and up. Probably the most extensive vintage experience ever.

Infantile
Held a newborn for the first time in 20 years. I was nervous, tense, and sweating. Kept making scenarios in my head of a deathly drop or a tragic neck snap.
Supposedly there's a thing called an instinct... not sure if it's working right.

Western Fridge
Unpacked all the goods I brought back from the west coast. I realized everything was food: local almonds, dates, coffee beans, cherries, walnut oil...
I shall miss the bounties of the Pacific-

Garbage Water
Luscious LA has tap problems. Agua here tastes like kaka.
Crazy photo of Chernobyl nuclear disaster area. The contaminated water looks like something from an oil painting.

Speakeasy Bathroom
When braving the streets of New York for a prolonged period, it is crucial to know where to take a leak. It's not Asia, the land of ubiquitous toilets; nor are there cobble stoned public urinals with a small fountain plumbing as they do in Lisboa; and would anyone dare enter the porta-john on the street?
One of the most luxurious hotels in Manhattan, always a pit-pee-stop for me.
