No Swimming
Tried to go for a swim today at the gym only to be met by a wet traffic of at least 4 people per lane. Had no desire to swim in lukewarm water with three lanes worth of water aerobics class, a splashing big section of kids (what were they doing at the pool at 7pm??) and a mad rush to fit into a long rotation.
Shall try again tomorrow.

The Buddha story
Somewhere in the mountains of Lantau Island...
Buddha came floating.
The other Bodhisattvas were thrilled! They gave him their best offerings.
But Buddha was enlightened and didn't need much else.
"Nah, I'm goods," he said and floated away.

The view
I stayed in the textural island of Kowloon during my first few days in Hong Kong. My room was ascetic with a room for a bed, small counter, and human being. The window size was, however, very generous. I drew the curtain and was excited to see my view of the Hong Kong hood.

Wong Kar-Wai City
My visa for Taiwan was coming to a close, so I made a quick trip to Hong Kong.
Such a glamourous city- Canton saturated air, exotic lights! It was like being In the Mood for Love.

Farmer's market
Went to the Farmer's market. Retracing steps, getting back into NY groove that I've left behind.
The Farmer's Market in California has organic artichokes and lemon verbena, because it's just like that.
