Been putting off this post for a while, only because it has been one of the most influential places I've ever visited. The palace was built under the Nasrid dynasty in the mid-14th century.
Every wall, ceiling, floors, water fountains... everything is decorated with the most intricately carved plaster.
Words cannot express.
Simply brilliant.

Rehearsals
The third week of April is Holy Week for Spain, where thousands of Christians flood the streets of whichever city to celebrate being holy. Or whatever needs to be celebrated.
Floats are carried through the small streets during Holy Week.

I came across a procession after meeting three native Sevillians, a football game (FCB!!) and much red wine. There was somber music playing and the carriers were walking slowly and methodically.

Marrakech in Cordoba
Tired after walking for however many hours in Cordoba, I stumbled across a Moroccan teteria. The mint tea was strong, its fragrance was fresh and the baklava was home-made with a rose in the center.
Of course, I didn't notice it until a petal stuck to my thumb.

Peeping toms
I was walking down a Plaza in Barcelona when I saw a small crowd of Arabic guys all peeping into a colorful store.
It was not a scantily clad woman; it was a soccer game.

Sagrada Familia
Gaudi's unfinished cathedral. He focuses on light and the feeling of being in a forest. Another one of his spellbinding, nature inspired work.
My favorite cathedral as of now. It would be hard to top this one, I'd say.
Gaudi died before finishing his cathedral, so construction still goes on- they predict for about maybe another 80 years or so.
