Super amazing weather today. This is all due to our friend, water. And wind. Our elements in different forms, different coasts. Jejudo and Mexico, respectively.
I was at a diner in LA when I saw this boy and grandma having their breakfast. The little kid was all over the place- standing on the chair, on the table, climbing the window. Something I wasn't able to do when I was a child.
It's 90 million degrees in New York! The weather forecasts predict thunderstorms every other day but so far, nil. I await anxiously for storm clouds to take over.
Never took photos of people's attire. But in the midst of wandering around in Park Slope I came across this cool dude. I told him I liked his getup, he tells me "the suit is probably older than you are." I hope I stay on top of my wardrobe when I'm way older.
In Brooklyn, the best taco place ever exists somewhere in Bushwick. There was a kid and his really hot mom who unfortunately didn't care much for the boy with sparkling eyes. She was on the phone for most of the time and he was fascinated by something on my face.
A high speed ferry has been installed in Busan, providing a 2 hour boat ride to the neighboring Japanese island of Tsushima. I stayed at a temple overnight. There was a temple kitty.
Korea had really cool markets. They sold everything from socks to knives to ginseng to baby sharks... everything but film! I ran out of film for my camera even before I made my way into the heart of the market. Luckily, I happened to pocket a disposable by chance- The graininess is kind of nice.
Coming home from travel is one of the truest feelings ever. It has become familiar to me and I've learned to always anticipate this return. Korea was eye opening, mind bending, endearing. As haggard as it may seem, it is a culture that is a part of the makings of this planet, spinning in the orbit. Another proof of human progression in its existence.
